Who we are

Dap Louw is an extraordinary professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of the Free State. He holds master’s degrees and doctorates in both Psychology and Criminology. He studied and lectured in the USA. He is the editor and author of several textbooks that are widely prescribed at universities in Southern Africa. He has published more than 100 articles in accredited national and international scientific journals.

Anet Louw was an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of the Free State. She is currently a research fellow in the same department. She coordinated the PhD programme in Child Psychology, as well as the Child Practice Programme in the master’s course in Professional Psychology for several years. She is the author, co-author and editor of several publications in the field of human development. She lectured in developmental psychology in the USA.
